GenLibre Ltd ("GenLibre", "we", "us") is a financial technology company registered in England and Wales. We provide a platform that helps homeowners accelerate mortgage repayment through AI-powered tools, family contribution pooling, and refinancing alerts. GenLibre provides the following services: Freedom Score: A proprietary metric indicating your mortgage payoff trajectory. This is an informational tool only and does not constitute financial advice. AI Overpayment Automation: Connection to your bank and mortgage via Open Banking to identify surplus funds and facilitate overpayments. Family Contribution Pool: A platform for family members to contribute toward your mortgage repayment. Refinance Alerts: Notifications about potentially better mortgage deals based on market monitoring. AI Financial Coach: An AI-powered chatbot providing general mortgage and financial information. Important: GenLibre does not provide regulated financial advice. Our AI coach and platform tools provide general information only. For regulated advice, please consult an FCA-authorised financial adviser.

To use GenLibre you must: Be at least 18 years of age. Be a resident of the United Kingdom. Hold a residential mortgage on a property in the United Kingdom. Have the legal authority to make decisions about your mortgage. By creating an account you confirm that you meet these requirements.

When you create a GenLibre account you are responsible for: Keeping your login credentials secure and confidential. All activity that occurs under your account. Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account at support@genlibre.com. Providing accurate and up-to-date information. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or are used fraudulently.

GenLibre offers the following subscription tiers: Starter: Free, with limited features. Family: £12.99/month or £99/year, with full platform access and a 30-day free trial. Premium: £24.99/month or £199/year, with all Family features plus human advisor sessions and a 30-day free trial. Founding Member pricing: Available to the first 1,000 subscribers at £7.99/month (Family) and £14.99/month (Premium), locked in for the lifetime of the subscription. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By subscribing you authorise GenLibre to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial periods except where required by law. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.

When you connect your bank or mortgage account via Open Banking: You authorise GenLibre and our Open Banking provider (TrueLayer) to access your financial data in read-only format. We cannot initiate payments, transfers, or any financial transactions on your behalf without your explicit instruction. You can withdraw Open Banking consent at any time from your account settings. We are not responsible for any disruption to Open Banking services caused by your bank or TrueLayer.

When using the Family Contribution Pool: You are responsible for ensuring that family members you invite consent to participating and having their contribution data visible to other pool members. Family contributions are processed as payments directly toward your mortgage. GenLibre is not responsible for any errors made by your mortgage lender in processing contributions. GenLibre charges an optional processing fee of up to 2% on one-off family contributions over £500. Recurring contributions are always free. Tax implications of receiving contributions (including potential inheritance tax considerations) are your responsibility. GenLibre provides general guidance only — consult a tax adviser for personalised advice.

GenLibre platform and tools are provided for informational purposes only. Freedom Score calculations and projections are estimates based on the data you provide and current market conditions. They are not guarantees of future outcomes. AI Coach responses are generated by artificial intelligence and may not always be accurate, complete, or suitable for your individual circumstances. Always verify important financial decisions with a qualified adviser. Past performance of any recommendations or strategies displayed on our platform does not guarantee future results. Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.

All content, features, and functionality of the GenLibre platform — including the Freedom Score methodology, AI systems, design, and branding — are owned by GenLibre Ltd and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of our platform without our written consent.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GenLibre shall not be liable for: Any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of our platform. Any financial loss resulting from decisions made based on our Freedom Score, AI Coach, or other platform features. Any disruption to services caused by third parties including banks, Open Banking providers, or payment processors. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid to GenLibre in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email and by displaying a notice on our platform. Continued use of GenLibre after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you have a complaint about our services, please contact us at support@genlibre.com. If we cannot resolve your complaint, you may be able to refer it to the Financial Ombudsman Service at financial-ombudsman.org.uk.
